you guys. we took our very last final today! can't believe school is OVVVAA! a little bittersweet, but mostly sweet because let's be honest - junior year wasn't a pleaser. it's the moment we've been waiting for since the tardy bell rang to first period on august 25. summer. we have some serious plans with sarah & kerbi {& when we say serious, we mean SERIOUS} this summer is going to be unlike any other. so, throw your hands up & shout the hallelujah chorus 'cause some serious things are about to go down.

things. but mostly projects.

a) me & tay are going to finish re-decorating our bedroom. b) i'm going to be making a lot of new things. art mostly. i just want to learn new stuff & be better at making things so i will most def. be experimenting a lot!

my favorite class for many reasons.

{1} dad's the teacher! a good one, too. even though his family stories are sometimes embarassing, it's still fun. i like watching him teach - sometimes i just sit there & i'm like woah, you're my dad! love him.. so much!

{2} the people above. oh, & kevin - he took the picture. [it makes me laugh.. for numerous reasons] we talk all the time about anything & everything. literally anything & everything. sometimes dad gets mad, oops! for some reason when we walk into room 218 all our guards fly out the window & it's like secret time for an hour and twenty minutes. it's awesome :) i love it & i love them.. so much!

thanks MAP, you make life that much funner.

we've got spirit, yes we do!

one word...

sweep.

for the first time in what seems like forever, our school acutally had spirit. yes, spirit. as past pep assemblies have been a complete bust, todays winter sports one was soooo great! everyone was very parcipitory (is that even a word?!) & so into it! we actually felt like a student body. everyone was pumped for the first region home game. a ton of people came to the boys game & i think our team played so much better because of it.

since it's region, boys & girls play in the big and small gyms.

here's the news...........

timpanogos won all the games.

boys & girls sophomores. WIN.

boys & girls jv. WIN.

boys & girls varsity. WIN.

we all stormed the court after the final buzzer rang of the boys varsity game & sang our fight song. it was seriously the best feeling. but our favorite part of the night was when someone got a broom & put a note on it that said "SWEEP" & everyone was chanting it to the orem fans.

today was a great day to be a t-wolf!

boy oh boy has this been a CUH-RAZY week. here it is in review.

monday, tuesday, wednesday. school, practice (all of which ended with 4+ ladders), homework, homework, (maybe more homework) sleep.

thursday. school. game @ provo (win), play games with fam, no homework was completed, sleep.

friday. school. jens has surgery #2. game @ west lake (win, but it wasn't pretty). play with maddie & danni until the wee hours of the night. go to DEL. come home to jens & dad going back to the hospital because he's in so much pain. try & watch the pretty little liars season premiere but fall asleep because we're more than exhausted.

saturday. do the score/clock for a little girls basketball tournament for 6 hours at the school. good thing coach brought us cafe rio & the ref in the big gym was attractive or else the day would have been awful. (not to mention the ref made jokes with us, it only kinda made our hearts beat fast)  go see jens at the hospital. go to lindsay & kenny's house to watch Wall Street & eat treaties. p.s. it's a great show!! but if you aren't financially educated you will be confused.. like taylor ;) sleep.

there's our hectic week. please bless next week is a little more calm.

dramas anonymous.

i kind of like the new facebook trend that has overcome timpanogos high school.

make a fake facebook profile where you can talk crap and start drama.

i personally think it's hilarious. everyone is calling these anonymous people "soo dramatic" when really, they're the ones who are cussin' it up & getting mad at what  Timpanogos Man Smith, Timpanogos Girl Smith, or Petter Knows says, clearly making it more dramatic then what it already is.

you tell them the dirt, and they post it on facebook. i guess it'd be different if i were the one getting hashed on, but oh well. i think i'd just laugh. it reminds me of the We Love You PG blog that was made, basically the same thing. i feel bad for the people who are victims, but i'll be the first to admit, you're very entertaining.

i guess i love other people's drama. i (sometimes) like when they vent to me about their issues. & i sometimes don't like minding my own business.

1. make a turkey according to the 4 year olds.

3. do good in photo/art class so your projects can be displayed in the commons.

4. take advantage of the fact your dad is the medical anatomy & physiology teacher. go to the school at 11:30 pm to study for the big quiz you have on the one bajillion bones in the body. you may think it'll be easy because he's the teacher and he will go easy on you.  MA&P will make or break your career decisions... and your grades.

5. while down at the school studying for your quiz and your head just keeps bobbing because basketball has taken over your life, jump up on the science lab tables & attempt to do the stanky leg..

absolutely nothing.

except for when i procrastinate writing my paper on the old man and the sea until 11:00 at night and am falling asleep after every word is typed. while brooks is watching ESPN & it's blaring in my ear, i type the words i hear without even thinking.

p.s. this is the birthday week, meaning it will be the slowest week ever. and try-outs are next monday, another reason for the slow paces. joy.

health career day

some students at school signed up for classes and we took a bus down to centenial middle school where health care professionals taught students who were interested in having a career in the medical field.

jacob visited us in our labor & delivery class (along with the EMT's because a girl passed out)

i went to: labor & delivery, EMT, & respiratory therapist

taylor went to: labor & delivery, surgery, & dentist.

we didn't sign up for our last 2 classes, they were just the only ones open. i was hoping to go to mental health because along with nursing i am interested in psychology, but i obviously wasn't able to do that. OH WELL! we had fun anyways.
